For the most part this is true. But sometimes people need just a little more than a regular word processor to design, layout and print a cd or dvd label and this is where special software like Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker comes in.
I have not personally used the software but I have thoroughly read the Acoustica website and it appears to do all that you need to create professional looking CD or DVD labels and jewel case inserts too.
The really cool features that especially appealed to me are you don’t have to manually type in the song tracks anymore. The software reads the tracks off the cd you are ripping and you use that list to print your new label.
Another cool feature involves label alignment and is called the “label optimizer”. This special feature ensures that your design is correctly aligned on your labels.
Yipee! That means no more wasted cd labels! Check it out.
