Very Bizarre & Appealing Label Humor?

Monday, June 11th, 2007

OK folks it’s time for some light-hearted label humor. If you have any problems with these label jokes or puns or whatever you want to call them… just remember, I made them up myself and I admit I am not a comedian! So with that out of the way here goes.

Q: What did that Italian speaking label say to the English speaking label?
A: You-a-peel to me!

Q: What kind of labels have homes.
A: Address Labels

Q: What kind of labels do egotistical, show-off’s named Dolores like the best?
A: CD Labels

Q: What is common about labels, bells, and bananas
A: They can all be peeled (or pealed).

If you know any good original label jokes please let me know so we can post them here and share them with everyone. As a matter of fact, just post them right here in the comments.

That’s all the label puns I can muster today… Stay tuned (don’t go away) there’s more coming soon! :-)

Coming Soon – Avery vs Compulabel Cross Reference

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Hey there folks,

Anyone’s that phoned in here has probably talked to Julie, our top notch, Class A, customer service rep.

In addition, to customer service Julie does a whole lot more. One of the projects she’s worked on is a cross reference sheet which compares  the layout of every Avery Label or printable card stock product with Compulabel layout.

So, if you use a particular Avery label and you want to try the similar Compulabel label layout you can visit the chart and find the comparable Compulabel item number.

Or if you use Compulabel labels, just go to the handy dandy table that Julie so painstakingly created and you’ll discover the similar Avery label layout.

It’s not anything fancy but either way the table works.

We are putting on the finishing touches for this table and you should watch this space to see the table soon.

Thanks for your patience!

Rick

P.S. You’re still welcome to call in and talk to Julie if you still need help cross-referencing and comparing layouts of Compulabel and Avery.

Avery Labels Now Available – Free Shipping

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

For the past three years or so, tlcIT.com has offered only one brand of label. The compulabel brand.

We thought we were doing you all a favor by offering you only Compulabel brand and we basically had four major reasons to offer you only the Compulabel brand.

The first reason was because of the variety of labels that the Compulabel brand offers. We figured that most label users don’t just use one type of label. As a matter of fact, many of you use quite a few different types and styles of labels. Compulabel manufactures and stocks a variety of labels from sheeted labels to pinfeed labels to thermal labels. Compulabel and tlcIT.com offers them all.
The second reason tlcIT.com selected to offer Compulabel brand labels was because of the speedy delivery times. You see Compulabel ships their labels from one of five warehouse locations across the U.S. These stock labels are “in stock” 99.9 percent of the time and this means, 99.9 percent of the time, you’ll get your order in less than 3 to 5 business days.
The third reason for offering you Compulabel brand labels was because of the quality of the labels. You won’t find a better quality label at the price we have anywhere.

And the fourth reason why we selected to offer you, our esteemed customers the Compulabel brand was because of the price. If you can find another label that is equal or better quality that the Compulabel Label, and is the same or a lower price, let me know and I’ll not only refund your money for the compulabel labels but I’ll pay for your other brand labels as well.

Oh yeah, how could I forget, there was a fifth reason to offer you Compulabel labels, and that is the free shipping offer.

Despite these five reasons, believe it or not, we had some customers that we’re not satisfied. They were just plain stuck on their Avery brand labels, and nothing, or no one could convince them otherwise
We are not ones to argue with customers opinions so it is that we are announcing the addition of Avery Labels to our site.

That’s right, now, if you want Avery labels instead of Compulabel, you can now get them both from tlcIT.com.

You might note that our Avery labels are probably less than you are used to paying for Avery labels and this along with our free shipping offer makes it a no-brainer to buy them from tlcIT.com.

Please note, that for now there’s a very limited variety of Avery Labels available but we hope to add more variety as time passes.

If there’s a particular Avery item number you’d like to see added please feel free to add a comment to this blog. Tell us which Avery item you need and maybe add a sentence or two on what you will use it for.

So, if you are one of those people that just loves their Avery Inkjet and Laser Labels, now you can go to our Avery labels page and check out our low prices. You might be surprised at what you’ll see. And, as with our Compulabel brand labels, we’ll offer our Avery labels at lower than normal prices.

And don’t forget shipping is always free at tlcIT.com!

Happy Easter folks,

Rick

Avery Labels vs Compulabel Labels

Friday, March 30th, 2007

A label is a label is a label! Isn’t it?

Well let’s see.

If you want to pay $36.79 for 100 sheets or 3,000 labels of blank 2.625″ x 1″ Avery address labels (Avery 5160) when you can get 100 sheets or 3,000 labels of blank Compulabel address labels, same size 2.625 x 1″, for just $12.62 go right ahead. Indulge and enjoy!
If you are happy paying $36.79 for 100 sheets or 1,000 labels of blank 4″ x 2″ Avery labels, (Avery 8463 or 5163) great! More power to ya!

But did you know that you can get 100 sheets, or 1,000 labels, of blank, 4″ x 2″, Compulabel, mailing labels for $12.62?

I am certainly not going to complain because, we offer both Compulabel and Avery labels on our websites. I am quite certain too that Avery Dennison would not mind either and neither will any one of their corporate stock holders mind.

If you are fixated on paying more for Avery Inkjet and Laser Printer Labels just because of the “Avery” brand, congratulations, you’ve been branded and we do not want to disappoint you!

Admittedly, our Avery Labels do not sale as much as our Compulabel labels do. But we feel we owe it to you to offer both. And you might notice too that our Avery Labels are a lot lower priced than most online and big box stores.

So if you absolutely, positively have to have an Avery Label… look no further than tlcIT.com where shipping is always free!

The biggest difference you’ll see between Compulabel Labels and Avery Labels falls into your bottom line. Compulabel allows you to keep more in your pocket than the Avery brand labels.

Someone once said “You get what you pay for.” But, I’ll bet they never knew about Compulabel Or Avery Labels!
